World Breast Feeding Week 1-7 August, 2003 was organized in five villages of Sawai Madhopur, District supported by UNICEF and organized by Samajik Vikas Kendra. The object of this progrmame was to create awareness among mothers and mother-in-laws about breast feeding. Besides the mothers, grand mothers of the villages, pradhan of pancahyat samiti social workers doctors and others also involved in this programme for the well being of the newly born children. The them was six months exclusive breast feeding: Mother's first milk colostrums to be feeded.
